Before VCAP, I had brilliant ideas for my vision. I had done some remarkable work but struggled to articulate my ideas and create a sustainable structure for the efforts committed and the vision. It felt like I had embarked on a journey to an imagined destination but through an unclear path.
The Execution Roadmap helped me to visualize an imagined future better, articulate the ideas and visionary objectives, and translate them into actionable steps and achievable goals. It was empowering, and execution was much easier because I could plan, prioritize appropriately, and make decisions faster. It also helped me to track my progress.
My primary goals were to revalidate my vision, revalidate the previous work done, start building a sustainable structure, build a team, reposition the brand, and extend its reach and impact through more partnerships and collaborations. I have recorded great wins and attained significant progress across these objectives. The Execution Roadmap promoted adaptability by keeping me on track despite some unforeseen delays that I encountered. It demystified the seeming complexity by turning my vision into actionable tasks effectively executed to attain the desired result.
What valuable insights did you gain from Oleg’s sessions? How has his expertise influenced your leadership approach?
The sessions were quite insightful, highlighting that Visionary Leadership is simply about how to be, and my vision is all about people and the value it creates for them. People may be able to copy what I do, but they can’t copy the unique value I create for others from authenticity. My vision defines my highest purpose, is a ladder to success, and defines my lifestyle.
The Fifteen Traits of Visionaries and the six-step CAVIAR (Clarity of Creation, Ability, Viability, Influence, Acting, Revitalizing) process provided insights, thought-provoking assessments, and pragmatic steps to help me build authenticity, simplicity, clarity, and high impact.
Envisioning a desired future requires purity of the mind. As a Visionary Leader, I must use my mind for its primary purpose – for deep thinking and developing ideas.
