Joining the Visionary Compass Accelerator Program (VCAP) was one of the most defining decisions of my year. Looking back now, I can confidently say that being part of the Powerhouse Cohort was not a coincidence. VCAP became the catalyst for one of the greatest seasons of personal transformation, visionary execution, and measurable growth I have ever experienced.
One of the earliest shifts VCAP triggered was in the way I approached work, value, and productivity. In order to keep up with the demands of the program, I had to completely restructure my work systems and schedule. What initially felt like an adjustment became a breakthrough. Today, I work fewer hours while earning significantly more because VCAP taught me how to place greater value on my time, expertise, and impact. That shift alone transformed my results beyond what I had previously experienced.
More importantly, VCAP transformed me personally. I did not join simply to “do more”; I joined because I desired a complete rebirth. Through the teachings, coaching, accountability, and community, I became bolder, more intentional, and more audacious in pursuing the vision God placed in my heart. I stopped waiting for opportunities and started positioning myself to create, demand, and steward them. The level of clarity, confidence, and execution capacity I gained during VCAP fundamentally changed how I show up as a visionary and leader.
During the program, I focused on scaling the Dear Young Professional (DYP) Global Network, an initiative committed to building young professionals with healthy mindsets about work and equipping them to become co-builders of vision, not just employees. I came into VCAP knowing it was time to scale DYP, but VCAP showed me both the “what” and the “how.” The execution roadmap I developed during the program provided a clear strategic direction for the next 3 to 5 years and expanded my vision beyond what I previously imagined possible.
The results since then have been remarkable.
We successfully expanded the Young Professionals Connect event from one city to two major cities; Lagos and Abuja, directly impacting over 80 young professionals. For the first time, we secured partnerships with notable brands, including a bank, an airline, and a global technology company, significantly increasing the visibility, credibility, and quality of the events. The execution principles taught in VCAP played a critical role in helping us identify actual needs, position value effectively, and secure strategic partnerships.
We also constituted the very first Board of Trustees for DYP, held our inaugural board meeting, and commenced the official NGO registration process with the Corporate Affairs Commission in Nigeria. This milestone positioned DYP for a completely new level of institutional growth, sustainability, and long-term impact. Interestingly, one of the board members came directly from my VCAP cohort, bringing strategic expertise that strengthened the organization significantly.
Another major milestone was the development of the Dear Young Professional Career Accelerator Program (DYPCAP), including a comprehensive 14-week curriculum alongside an abridged 2-week intensive version tailored for corporate sponsorships. As a result, we have already begun onboarding facilitators, engaging corporate stakeholders, and securing internship opportunities in preparation for the launch of the first cohort in 2026.
VCAP also gave birth to Project 5K, a nationwide outreach and crowdfunding initiative designed to equip 5,000 campus leaders across Nigeria with copies of the Career Bible, Dear Young Professional. The initiative combines campus tours, transformational mindset sessions, and leadership development with the goal of onboarding participants into DYPCAP. The first outreach has already been executed successfully at the University of Lagos, directly reaching over 40 campus leaders and recent graduates.
Beyond DYP, the transformation extended into my business. In November 2025, I officially launched my Fractional Learning Strategist service for corporate organizations and immediately began onboarding clients for 2026. The confidence, strategic clarity, and execution systems I gained through VCAP were instrumental in helping me successfully launch and position this new expression.
VCAP did not just inspire me; it equipped me to execute. It stretched my thinking, sharpened my systems, strengthened my leadership, expanded my visibility, and accelerated the scale of my vision. The measurable outcomes, strategic partnerships, new launches, and transformational growth I experienced within a single year are proof of the power of intentional visionary execution.
I remain deeply grateful for the VCAP experience and excited for the even greater impact that will continue to unfold in the years ahead.
