VCAP has been one of the most defining and transformational experiences of my life and leadership journey. I entered the program with a vision I believed I was called to steward, but VCAP gave me something far greater than strategy alone; it gave me the clarity, courage, structure, and audacity to fully pursue that vision at the scale and depth I had always imagined.
Perhaps one of the greatest outcomes of this journey is not only what I have built, but who I have become in the process. VCAP stretched my thinking, strengthened my confidence, deepened my conviction, and transformed the way I see myself as a visionary leader. The woman I am today, and the woman I am still becoming, is one of the greatest testimonies of this experience.
Since implementing my Execution Roadmap, the level of progress and execution momentum has been remarkable. One of the most significant milestones was successfully launching our first-ever in-person conference, *The Convening of Sons*. That gathering was birthed directly from the clarity and alignment I gained through VCAP, both personally and for the broader assignment connected to Lighthouse Tribe. What once existed as vision became a fully executed reality that brought together people around purpose, transformation, and community.
Another major milestone was the launch of our newly redesigned website, which now communicates the vision of Lighthouse Tribe with far greater clarity and intentionality. Beyond simply showcasing our initiatives, the platform now reflects the caliber of individuals and communities we are called to serve while positioning the organization for greater visibility, credibility, and long-term growth.
VCAP also gave me the confidence to publicly launch my consultancy; something I had previously hesitated to fully share or position. Through the journey, I gained deeper clarity around the assignment attached to the consultancy, the value it carries, and the impact it is designed to create. That clarity transformed hesitation into confident execution and positioned me to begin building more intentionally in that space.
Beyond external launches and visibility, one of the most strategic accomplishments during this season has been the intentional planning of our internal structures, standard operating procedures, and long-term sustainability systems. These frameworks have already been communicated to our Board of Trustees, and we are actively building toward implementing several of these strategic plans. VCAP taught me that sustainable vision requires not only inspiration but also structure, governance, and operational clarity.
Another deeply impactful aspect of my experience was the community within the Labs. The phrase “iron sharpens iron” perfectly captures what those spaces became for me. Our accountability calls were not simply progress check-ins; they became safe spaces where visionaries could openly share victories, challenges, vulnerabilities, and moments of uncertainty without fear of judgment.
Hearing the progress of my lab partners consistently inspired and challenged me, but even more valuable was the culture of practical encouragement that existed within the group. We did not just motivate one another emotionally; we actively helped each other solve problems, navigate challenges, and think through execution barriers strategically. That environment of support and collaboration was intentionally cultivated by our coach, Titi Med, whose leadership created a space where growth, excellence, and team upliftment became natural outcomes.
Those sessions often felt like strategic refueling rooms; spaces where the “engines” behind the visions were strengthened, sharpened, and prepared to return to the work with greater effectiveness and efficiency. The impact of that environment on my personal growth and execution journey cannot be overstated.
My lab members also played a significant role in helping me refine the curriculum content for a major program we are preparing to deploy in 2026. Through intentional one-on-one conversations and brainstorming sessions, I received invaluable feedback that strengthened the quality, depth, and delivery structure of the curriculum. Their insights, probing questions, and strategic suggestions helped sharpen the content in ways I would not have achieved alone. For that, I remain deeply grateful.
One of the most beautiful surprises of VCAP was the depth and ease of collaboration that emerged within the community. Initially, I was uncertain about how collaboration would naturally happen within a cohort filled with visionaries from different sectors and regions. However, the caliber of people within VCAP made collaboration feel effortless and organic. There was a genuine openness to sharing knowledge, supporting one another, and building together across initiatives and assignments.
One of the most impactful collaborations I formed was with a fellow visionary who has since become much more than a collaborator, she has become a sister. She consistently showed up during some of my most significant Kairos moments, attending our events, speaking life into the vision, and helping confirm many of the internal conversations I had been having with God concerning the assignment.
She also became a trusted sounding board for our curriculum deployment because of the similarity in the work she is building. Our knowledge-sharing sessions were incredibly rich and strategic. Her thoughtful questions, insights, and challenges pushed me to think more deeply about execution, delivery, and sustainability in ways that will undoubtedly strengthen the success of the program moving forward.
The second collaboration was one I never anticipated. A visionary I had not previously interacted with during VCAP reached out to invite me as a guest speaker at her event. What made that moment especially significant was that it became my very first paid speaking engagement; my first time being intentionally invited and compensated to share my voice and expertise publicly. That experience not only expanded my visibility but also affirmed the value and weight of my voice within the spaces I am called to influence.
Looking back, there were countless smaller moments throughout the journey, messages of encouragement, check-ins, prayers, collaborations, and quiet acts of support exchanged between visionaries. Those moments collectively created an ecosystem that made visionary execution feel lighter, stronger, and more sustainable.
VCAP is truly one of one. It is far more than a program; it is an ecosystem that cultivates visionaries, strengthens execution, sharpens leadership, and positions people for sustainable impact, strategic visibility, and legacy-level work. The transformation I experienced throughout this journey has been both deeply personal and profoundly strategic, and I know the results of what was planted during these 40 weeks will continue to unfold for years to come.
