Coaching Standards

Coaches are prohibited from conflicts of interest, misuse of confidential information, favoritism, or any behavior that compromises the integrity of the coaching relationship.

VCAP coaches operate within a coaching ecosystem aligned with globally recognized competencies and mastery-based practices.

IAC-Aligned Coaching Principles

The International Association of Coaching (IAC) emphasizes transformational coaching conversations that facilitate awareness, ownership, possibility thinking, and sustainable behavioral change. Our coaches are IAC-Masteries Practitioner certified and are trained to create these transformational shifts while helping visionaries discover their own solutions and pathways.

ICC Coaching Council Standards

VCAP Accountability Coaches are recruited from, or trained within, the ICC Coaching Council ecosystem and are expected to demonstrate proficiency in recognized coaching masteries before being assigned visionaries. Coaches undergo assessment, onboarding, practical coaching development, and continuous improvement throughout their coaching journey.

To serve as a VCAP Accountability Coach, individuals must demonstrate a strong combination of coaching competence, leadership maturity, and commitment to transformational impact.

Our coaches are expected to:

Possess previous coaching, mentoring, leadership, or people-development experience.

Successfully complete VCAP onboarding, training, and assessment processes.

Commit to ongoing professional development.

Demonstrate strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.

Exhibit sound judgment, emotional intelligence, and conflict-resolution capabilities.

Maintain excellence in reporting, accountability, and follow-through.

Serve as examples of the execution principles they teach.
